Role: PeopleSoft Techno Functional Consultant

Location: Schenectady, NY

Duration: 6+ Months

Max Rate: $50/hr on C2C

Job Description: Current technical experience : 6 to 10 years

· Provides technical advice and assistance to management and technical staff in matters relating to PeopleSoft benefits administration, pension administration, Core HR programming activities.

· PeopleSoft HRMS Required, version 9.2 desired

· Good understanding of how data flows in different PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Pension Administration)

· Expert knowledge of the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture, People Tools 8.55+ PeopleSoft Portal 9.1

· 8-10 years of extensive programming experience with Peoplecode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Business Interlinks, Webservices, XML Publisher and SQR.

· Knowledge of Integration Broker , Web Services and integration with third party applications is preferred.

· 8-10 years of experience with SQL on any database (ORACLE,)

· Development platforms: Windows, UNIX, and Linux.

The following skills are strongly preferred:

· Hand on experience with PeopleSoft Pension Administration, Benefit module is highly desirable.

· Prepares detailed analysis, plans, diagrams and procedures within a technical design document to existing and proposed PeopleSoft applications

· Must have strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work closely with business owners to clarify project scope and specifications, including providing and evaluating alternative options where appropriate.

· Must be flexible and able to work independently or in a team environment

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills Independent and self-motivated with the ability to handle Team and multiple tasks

· Ability to prioritize, take initiative and work well under pressure Experience with full software lifecycle (requirements, analysis, design, construction and testing) in Agile/Scrum environment

· Ability to independently translate business requirements analysis into technical design specifications and development.
